The News Lounge opened in the Summer of 2008 in the Courtyard located
at the center of 55th Street Station and is the Crown Jewel of this mixed use
complex, located just north of Soyka, the Restaurant, across the street from
Andiamo Brick Oven Pizza and Leo’s Car wash and adjacent to Sushi Siam.
The News Lounge’s roots steam from the News Café on Ocean Drive, which
was founded in 1988, but unlike its big Brother, it has a limited Bar Menu,
and features an eclectic, modern, “Metropolis” décor with a beautiful 100
seat indoor video bar, unique lounge and Fantasy Room, plus a 100 seat
outdoor space: our mini version of Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road, featuring
an outdoor Pool Table, large outdoor video screen, swings, bed for lounging
plus a variety of seating areas for your private enjoyment.
The News Lounge features house and special guests dj’s and live music, art
installations, etc., and has a varied entertainment program each night of the
week.

The News Lounge accepts a variety of private and semi-private
events and parties and caters to a wide range of special needs and
menu.

Hours of operations:
Open every day from 5 pm to the wee hours of the morning (1-3am), depending on the particular night.
